Why Consultations Matter
Before beginning therapy, I offer a consultation to help us get a sense of fit. A strong therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of meaningful work, and consultations provide an opportunity to ask questions you might have about the process, share a little about what’s bringing you in, and get a feel for who I am and how I work. For couples therapy, it’s important that both partners attend the consultation. This helps us begin our journey together with a shared understanding and ensures a good fit between all three of us, which is essential for the process.
